At MVH Construction sites, we introduce recycling as part of our site induction process and find that generally all our trades are great and enthusiastic adopters of our sorting program and approach.
As an industry we need to create more noise in this area. We are finding that the quantities of soft plastics we collect on site are either too much for some recyclers or not a large enough volume for others.
We also need to remove the stigma that is associated with rubbish from building sites and ensure what we are sending away to recyclers is not contaminated with other material or debris and making it super easy for them to do their job.
At MVH Constructions we will continue to champion our efforts in what we do with our waste and hope it only becomes easier along the way.
All of our building waste throughout construction is sorted and separated, so as much of it as possible can be recycled/reused in an effort to vastly reduce the amount sent to landfill.
